On Saturday, August 10, I had the honor of performing at Mike and Sarah’s wedding. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather!

Mike and Sarah’s colors were yellow and baby blue, which was tied into every element of their day. From blue uplighting and bridesmaid dresses, to yellow flip flops and flowers, every little detail was tied into their color theme.

As guests arrived at the Tupper Manor, they were greeted with appetizers and were encouraged to leave a note for Mike and Sarah on their photo sign board. Guests could also leave a thumb print on a piece of paper to create leaves on their wishing tree.

The table centerpieces consisted of yellow and white roses and tiny daisies from Jeri Solomon Floral Design; each had a photo of Mike and Sarah holding the table number. Each place setting had a small box for use at the candy buffet at the end of the night.

Mike and Sarah chose a simple three-tiered white buttercream cake with yellow flowers from Cake for Occasions and a Willow Tree cake topper.

We started the night off with fun personalized intros for the bridal party and a custom love story to bring in Mike and Sarah, the new Mr. and Mrs. Mike Tavares! We had everyone laughing with some movie sound clips and funny memories of each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the love story was a great way to let everyone know exactly how we had gotten to that day- from Mike and Sarah’s first date, to the proposal.

Once dinner was done and we had cut the cake, it was time to dance the night away! We had a rockin’ party with everyone up on the dance floor partying to music from the 90s and today’s top hits! I had just as much fun as the guests!

Congratulations, Mike and Sarah! Thank you for having Rakis Productions as your wedding entertainment! I wish you all the best in the future!
